Connecting Voices, Honoring Traditions, Building Futures
Who We Are
The Indigenous Cultural Community Network (ICCN) is a digital home for First Nations, Métis, and Inuit peoples across Canada—and for allies who listen, learn, and stand with us. Created to resist digital colonialism, ICCN is a space where culture meets technology on our terms. Whether you’re here to share news, join a ceremony, or connect with Indigenous-owned businesses, this platform is by us, for us.
What We Offer
1. 📅 Events & Gatherings Calendar
From powwows in Treaty 6 territory to Inuit throat-singing workshops in Nunavut, our calendar highlights nation-specific and pan-Indigenous events across Canada. Submit your full moon teachings, land defense rallies, or urban Indigenous youth meetups—because connection heals.
2. 📻 Indigenous Radio Directory
Tune into Cree, Michif, Inuktitut, and more with our directory of Canadian Indigenous radio stations, including:
- CFNR (First Nations Radio, BC)
- NCI FM (Manitoba’s Indigenous voice)
- Turtle Island’s community streams
Language lives here.
3. 📰 Unified News Feed
Cut through the colonial noise. Our Canada-focused news feed prioritizes sources like:
- APTN News
- IndigiNews
- Local land-back movements
No spin—just stories that matter to our nations.
4. 💼 Indigenous Business Directory
Support economic sovereignty. Find:
- Métis-owned catering

- First Nations tech startups
Search by territory or service—because buying Indigenous builds futures.
5. 💬 Community Forum
Discuss Truth and Reconciliation actions, share residential school survivor resources, or debate Bill C-53’s impacts in our moderated space. Elders, knowledge keepers, and youth gather here—with protocols rooted in respect.
Why ICCN Exists
Canada’s history tried to silence us—but we’re still here, speaking our languages, defending our lands, and rebuilding what was stolen. ICCN is a tool for:
- Language Revitalization (post in Anishinaabemowin, no auto-correct shame).
- Land Back Advocacy (amplify blockades, petitions, and direct actions).
- Intergenerational Healing (Elders and youth bridging divides).
We stand on:
- UNDRIP compliance
- Respect for Two-Spirit leadership
- Urban/rural Indigenous solidarity
Join the Circle
ICCN thrives when you participate. Add your event, promote your drum group, or debate nationhood in the forums. Together, we’re proving what Canada tries to deny: We are unextinguished.
“For our ancestors. For our grandchildren. For us.”
